Namibia's roads are amazing and the road network covers all the tourist destinations. They will take you through breathtaking landscapes and the contrasts of our country. Since most of our roads are "gravel pads" and our tourists are not familiar with the driving situation, they loose control of their rental vehicle and accidents with serious injuries occur.

"Speed" is the cause of most accidents, please drive responsible and consider:

• 120 km/h on tar roads, 80 km/h on gravel roads
• We drive on the left hand side in Namibia
• Avoid driving at night, because of animals crossing roads
• Rent a 4 wheel drive vehicle if you intend to go off-road
